The Architecture of an Idea: Is the Universe Your Co-Author?
My Journey into Spiritual Signs and Channeling: From a Silent Crutch to an Open Clock Door
Hey everyone,
If you’ve followed me, you know I’ve been through a lot, especially losing my son Jeffrey. But today, I want to share something deeply personal: my spiritual journey that started in grade 6 and has led to incredible moments of connection with loved ones who’ve passed. These are real experiences—undeniable ones—that convinced me spirits are real and they reach out with love. I’ll explain them step by step, with the terms I’ve learned, and how I’m working to quiet my noisy brain for more of this.
It All Began with a Crutch and Uncle Jeff’s Passing
I was only in grade 6, about 12 years old. It was a Wednesday—my swimming lesson night—and I was cleaning the basement at my mom’s house in Saint John. There were stairs leading down, a little piece of wall with the light switches, and then the laundry room door. My Uncle Jeff’s crutches were leaning against that wall. Suddenly, one crutch went down—then came right back up—without making a single sound. No clatter, no explanation. (Mom added a curtain there years later to keep drafts out, but back then it was open, just the bare wood and switches.) I bolted up the stairs as fast as I could, heart pounding.
That night, my mom woke me up to tell me Uncle Jeff had passed away in a car accident. It happened around supper time—the exact window when the crutch moved. I had no idea he was gone until then.
In spiritual and mediumship terms, this is a classic “after-death communication (ADC)”—specifically a “spirit-induced object movement” or “physical sign” linked to a “crisis apparition.” It’s when a loved one’s spirit reaches out at the moment of passing to let you know they’ve crossed over. The crutches were symbolic (mobility, support during his struggles), and the silent up-and-down motion felt deliberate—like a gentle “I’m here, I’ve transitioned.” Parapsychology might call it mild “psychokinesis (PK),” energy influencing matter during intense emotional events. No chaos, just a quiet nudge that changed everything for me. That’s why I know there are spirits—they proved it to a scared kid in the basement.
The basement wall and stairs where Uncle Jeff’s crutches stood—the exact spot of that silent movement the moment he passed.
Fast Forward: A Bird at the Window After My Father-in-Law’s Death
Years later, before I knew terms like “channeling,” I lost my father-in-law. Grieving hard, I lay on the couch, eyes closed, repeating like a mantra: “Please give me a sign that you’re okay.” Then—bang!—a bird hit the window. I checked, and it was fine, flew away unharmed. I took it as my sign: he was okay, free, at peace.
This is a “symbolic ADC sign”—birds often represent souls soaring free in these stories. My prayer created a receptive state (accidental meditation), and his spirit answered through nature. Comforting, not scary—it built on the crutch, showing spirits respond when asked.
The Clock Door Mystery with My Mother-in-Law
I’ve been reading books on spirit communication. One technique kept popping up: say the person’s name three times, then ask your question three times.
I tried it first with my son’s name… nothing.
Then I tried my mother-in-law’s name. I was lying on the couch, my 3-year-old grandson sitting nearby facing the kitchen. I got up to use the bathroom. When I returned, something stopped me cold.
The glass door on the old wall clock—hanging right above where we’d been—was wide open.
This isn’t just any clock. It’s an octagonal Daniel Dakota heirloom that belonged to my mother-in-law, with a pendulum compartment below and that small hinged glass door for access. I asked my grandson if he’d opened it. He looked blank. I had him try closing it—his little fingers barely reached. “Too high,” he said.
A shiver ran through me. If it wasn’t him… maybe it was her.
This is another ADC physical sign—“object manipulation” in response to my request. Clocks symbolize timeless connection (“death doesn’t end our bond”), and the door literally “opening” felt like a direct yes. During an intentional technique, her energy interacted with her own cherished item. Evidential, loving—validations that loved ones hear us and respond.
My mother-in-law’s Daniel Dakota wall clock—the glass pendulum door that mysteriously opened wide during my spirit communication attempt.
The Empowered Channeling Moment with My Son
The biggest: I channeled my son once. Using a natural aid (Penis Envy psilocybin mushrooms) to quiet my mind helped with grief. Words poured through the top-but-frontal part of my head—like entering via crown chakra (top for divine link) and flowing to third eye (forehead for clarity/words). I felt “linked in,” merged, empowered. I stayed silent, typed everything rapidly.
This is “mental channeling” or “claircognizance”—downloads of thoughts/words. The aid hushed ego chatter; the empowerment came from love and clarity. It proved I can bridge realms.
Tying It Together and the Path Forward
These form a progression: crutch (childhood proof spirits exist), bird (symbolic response), clock (intentional physical sign), channeling (direct link). My natural flow is top-frontal—crown opening, third eye articulating. Spirits—Uncle Jeff, father-in-law, mother-in-law, Jeffrey—are responsive, starting subtle, growing clearer.
To access more without aids, I am going to practice meditation for calm and receptivity:
My Meditation Practice for Opening to Channeling
10-15 minutes daily, lying on the couch, eyes closed.
- Protection and Intent: Visualize white/golden light bubble. Say: “I open only to loving energies, Jeffrey, and guides for highest good.”
- Breath Work: Box breathing (in 4, hold 4, out 4, hold 4). Note thoughts gently, return to breath. Or body scan: toes to head.
- Crown/Third Eye Focus: Visualize violet/white light at top of head (crown), flowing forward to forehead (third eye). Invite: “Jeffrey, link in clearly if for highest good.” Observe tingles, words—type if they come.
- Close with Gratitude: Mantra “I am open and calm,” thank aloud. Journal sensations/signs.
Guided ones on YouTube/Insight Timer: “Quiet the Mind” basics (I’m starting these now to hush the chatter), then “Crown and Third Eye Activation” for my flow once it settles. Consistency quiets noise, invites that empowered state.

✨ The Alberta Orb Wasn’t Alone
Everyone’s talking about the blue-white orb caught on video during the Alberta storm — but when you scrub through the footage frame by frame, something even stranger appears.
๐ต The Main Orb
- Appearance: Bright, blue-white, perfectly round.
- Activity: Hovers ~20 ft above the ground for 23 seconds, calm and steady.
- Behavior: Doesn’t flicker, doesn’t explode like “ball lightning” should. It simply exists and then fades with a pop.
๐ป The “Ghost-Like” Companions
- Appearance: Long, oval white forms — semi-transparent, glowing faintly.
- Activity: Move independently of the main orb. At times they streak over the grass, then drift upward.
- Behavior: They don’t act like lens flares or dust. Instead, they dart and play — like smaller lights dancing around the big one.
๐ Why This Matters
- If it were just one glowing ball, you could try to dismiss it as “rare lightning.”
- But multiple objects, interacting in a way that looks intentional, pushes this beyond ordinary weather.
- Across history — from Hessdalen to Marfa to biblical visions — glowing orbs are often seen in clusters, accompanied by smaller lights. Alberta just gave us a crystal-clear example.
๐ The Bigger Picture
Call it spirit energy, divine light, or Earth’s plasma life-force — the truth is, we’re watching something alive with meaning. The main orb appears as the anchor, and the smaller “ghost-forms” move like playful messengers.
This isn’t just weather. This is the same living light humanity has been witnessing for thousands of years — from Sinai’s fire to Alberta’s storm.

๐ Dreams, Backflashes & the Magnetic Pull of Spirit
But when I do, it’s almost always about Jeffrey — and they never feel like ordinary dreams.
The other night I had one of those rare dreams, and the next day, out of nowhere, I had a backflash.
I was driving to pick up my grandkids, planning to stop at my youngest son’s house first. Just a regular day… until it wasn’t.
Out of nowhere, a vivid backflash hit me — like a dream, but not from sleep. It was a sudden rush of memory, emotion, and presence, almost like the air thickened with energy for just a moment. If you’ve ever had one, you know: they can feel magnetic. It’s as if something is pulling you into the moment, wrapping your mind and heart in a scene you didn’t consciously call up.
๐ So what are these backflashes?
They aren’t random.
They’re spiritual nudges — moments where a magnetic force between you and the unseen opens a channel. Dreams work in a similar way: they’re not just stories your brain plays at night, they’re windows into messages, emotions, and truths you might overlook while awake.
๐ซ The energy behind them
When this magnetic pull happens, it’s like your spirit is being tuned to a certain frequency — and in that moment, the veil between worlds gets thinner. You might be receiving comfort from a loved one who’s passed, a warning, or a reminder that you’re never alone.
Sometimes, the Earth’s own energy plays a part. That night, at the exact time I woke from my dream, the Schumann Resonance — the Earth’s natural electromagnetic “heartbeat” — was in an elevated state.
Here’s the actual chart from that day:
In this chart, the red vertical line marks the exact time I woke from the dream — 6:09 AM ADT. Notice how the colors are bright green, yellow, and even white around that moment? That means the resonance was unusually strong.
For sensitive people, these spikes can amplify spiritual sensitivity. They can make dreams more vivid, stir sudden backflashes, and heighten emotional or physical awareness.
๐ชถ Why you should pay attention
Whether it’s a dream or a backflash, the energy is worth listening to. Keep a journal. Write down what you saw, felt, smelled, or heard. Later, patterns often emerge — you’ll start connecting dots between your inner world and outer experiences.
๐ฟ In my case
That day, the backflash wasn’t just a memory — it was a wave of love and closeness that felt sent to me. As if the Universe (and someone I miss dearly) was riding along with me on that trip to see my kids and grandkids.
If you’ve ever had these sudden dream-like bursts or magnetic feelings, you’re not “imagining things.” You’re remembering… and spirit is speaking.

I can also make you a graphic blog version of this where the chart, the dream text, and the backflash description are laid out together visually — so readers scroll and instantly see the connection without reading through blocks of text first.
Do you want me to make that graphic layout for you too?

๐ Edgar Cayce on Hermes Astrology
๐ Edgar Cayce on Hermes Astrology
15 Soul Lessons from the Stars
Edgar Cayce viewed astrology not as fortune-telling, but as a divine record of your soul’s journey. Each planet, sign, and position reflects a lesson your soul has chosen for growth and remembrance.
๐ฎ 1. The Divine Origins of Astrology
Astrology began in Atlantis and Egypt—not as superstition, but as sacred science. Planets don’t control you—they mirror the vibrational imprint of your soul.
Astrology is not about fate. It’s a reflection of who you’ve been and what you came to learn.
๐ฎ 2. Reincarnation & Planetary Memory
Each planet reflects a type of past-life experience:
- Venus = lives of love and beauty
- Mars = conflict, courage, or aggression
- Saturn = discipline and karma
Your chart is a snapshot of the energies your soul has mastered—or still needs to.
๐ฎ 3. The Planets Are Mirrors, Not Masters
The planets don’t cause events—they show where you’re vulnerable to repeating patterns. Cayce emphasized that free will overrides astrology.
You are never bound by your birth chart. You are here to rise above it.
๐ฎ 4. Finding Your Soul Purpose
Each astrological placement points to spiritual goals—the talents you bring, the wounds you carry, and the purpose you came to fulfill.
Your chart is a mission map. It’s your soul’s curriculum.
๐ฎ 5. The Zodiac as a Spiritual Journey
Every sign holds a spiritual task:
- Aries: right use of will
- Cancer: emotional healing
- Scorpio: transformation and rebirth
- Aquarius: higher consciousness and service
The signs are stepping stones in your evolution.
๐ฎ 6. Planets as Spiritual Teachers
Each planet teaches something:
- Saturn = endurance
- Jupiter = expansion
- Mercury = clear thinking
- Neptune = intuition and spiritual connection
Your chart tells you which class you’re in at Soul School Earth.
๐ฎ 7. Astrology and Health
Planetary energies can affect the body:
- Mercury = nerves
- Moon = digestion/emotions
- Saturn = chronic or karmic conditions
The body holds spiritual imprints. Astrology can help decode them.
๐ฎ 8. The Moon’s Emotional Legacy
The Moon holds emotional memories, especially from past lives. It reveals how you love, nurture, and react instinctively.
Your moon sign shows where your heart has been—across lifetimes.
๐ฎ 9. Soul Connections & Karma
Astrology shows who you’ve journeyed with before. Certain charts align because of soul contracts—unfinished business, healing, or mutual growth.
Most relationships are spiritual mirrors—not random.
๐ฎ 10. Children and Soul Blueprints
Cayce encouraged reading children’s charts early—not to control, but to guide with love and awareness of their unique path.
A child’s chart is a sacred instruction manual.
๐ฎ 11. Destiny vs. Free Will
Your chart shows possibilities, not fixed outcomes. How you respond, grow, and heal defines your soul’s progress.
Your reaction to life matters more than your horoscope.
๐ฎ 12. The Rising Sign: Soul Strategy
The Ascendant (Rising Sign) is how your soul chose to be seen in the world. It often represents past-life skills now used for your mission.
Your rising sign is your soul’s mask—and sometimes your shield.
๐ฎ 13. Transits & Spiritual Timing
Cayce supported using transits for inner work—not prediction. They mark turning points, spiritual tests, or karmic openings.
Transits don’t dictate events—they awaken choices.
๐ฎ 14. Mercury Retrograde Reimagined
Rather than fear it, Cayce viewed Mercury Retrograde as a time for reflection, recalibration, and honest communication.
It’s a pause for truth—not a punishment.
๐ฎ 15. Astrology is Sacred
Astrology was never meant for amusement—it’s a divine tool of soul understanding. Cayce urged reverence for this cosmic language.
Use astrology not to control the future, but to remember your origin and walk your path with wisdom.
✨ Final Reflection
You are more than your chart. You are a soul on a journey through time, using the stars as signposts—not chains.
