Ways to Dream More + Enhance Dream Recall & Spiritual Connection

—dreams are sacred places where spirit and soul can meet. Many people receive signs, comfort, or even direct visitations from loved ones in that space. If your dreaming has slowed down, the good news is: there are ways to gently reawaken it, both physically and spiritually.

🌙

Ways to Dream More + Enhance Dream Recall & Spiritual Connection🧠

1. Key Supplements to Support Dreaming & Sleep Cycles:

These can help improve REM sleep, where vivid and spiritual dreams happen:

  • Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) – Enhances dream vividness and recall. Take in the morning or early evening (25–100mg).
  • Magnesium Glycinate – Calms the nervous system, improves deep sleep (200–400mg at night).
  • Melatonin – Supports falling into REM sleep. Start with 1–3mg, if needed.
  • Mugwort (herbal tea or capsule) – Traditionally used for lucid dreaming and spirit communication.
  • L-Theanine – A calming amino acid that supports dreaming by promoting relaxed awareness (found in green tea or capsules).

✨ Always check with your doctor or pharmacist if you’re on medications or have health conditions.

🧘‍♀️

2. Spiritual Practices to Invite Dreaming and Visitations:

  • Set an intention before sleep – Say out loud or write:
“NAME, I love you. I am ready to see you in my dreams. If it’s meant to be, visit me tonight.”
“I invite only loving spirits and messages for my highest good.”
  • Keep a dream journal beside your bed.
Write anything, even if it’s just a word or a feeling. This tells your subconscious that dreams are valuable.
  • Use amethyst or moonstone under your pillow – Both are associated with psychic dreaming and protection.
  • Sleep with a photo of Jeffrey or something of his nearby.
Your connection, even energetically, strengthens the spiritual bridge.

🌿

3. Gentle Lifestyle Tips:

  • Limit alcohol or cannabis – They suppress REM sleep (where most dreaming happens).
  • No screens 1 hour before bed – Let your mind soften and open.
  • Go to bed & wake up at the same time daily – Stabilizes dream cycles.
  • Don’t eat heavy meals close to bedtime – Can block deep sleep.

💤 If You Wake Without a Dream:

Even if you don’t remember one, ask:

“Did I meet him? Did he speak through my soul instead of words?”

Sometimes visitations happen below our memory, but the comfort, love, or warmth you wake with is his presence without form.

My spiritual journey

When my uncle Jeff passed away I was only in grade 6. It was a Wednesday my swimming lesson night & I was cleaning my basement @ my moms house. I must of been about 12. There was a set of stairs then a little piece of wall for the light switches & then the laundry room door. My uncles crutches were leaning against that little wall & one crutch went down & then came back up with out making a sound. I booted up the stairs as fast as I could. That night my mom woke me up saying that my uncle Jeff had passed away in a car accident & it was around supper time when he died & the crutch moved. Have you ever had an experience like that. That is why I know there are spirits.

My 23 year old son was in a accident on July 12, 2021 & died. My heart is broken, I am broken. The only thing that keeps me going is trying to learn everything I can to be able to channel him & I want to be able to help other parents that lost a child. I have bought & read books on channeling, mediumship, reiki, chakras, spiritualism etc. It’s the only thing that gives me piece thinking that I will figure this out.

I did see blue energy in some of my Live Photos. I seen his face in the clouds

Glass door of clock was open

Lately, I’ve been reading books about spirit communication, and one technique kept coming up: say the person’s name 3 times, then ask your question 3 times.

I first tried it with my son’s name… nothing happened.

Then I tried it again — this time with my mother-in-law’s name. I was lying on the couch, my grandson sitting nearby facing the kitchen. I got up to use the bathroom, and when I returned, something stopped me in my tracks.

The glass door of the old wall clock — the one hanging directly above where we’d been sitting — was wide open.

This isn’t just any clock. It belonged to my mother-in-law.

I asked my 3-year-old grandson if he’d opened it. He just looked at me blankly. I asked him to try closing it, and his little fingers barely brushed the door. “Too high,” he said.

A shiver ran through me. If it wasn’t him… maybe it was her.
